Description
Plot Summary
After leaving Florida, Beth (played by Rebecca Hall) came to Las Vegas, the holy land of many gold miners, where she found a job as a barmaid. Although life is vastly different from her expectations, Beth doesn't have much energy to think and complain. Being able to eat enough and have a place to live every day is already the biggest luxury. Gambler Dink (played by Bruce Willis) saw through Beth's aimless state of life and found her hope to become his partner. Unexpectedly, this choice brought him a once-in-a-lifetime good luck. Originally, Beth was very sensitive to numbers and probabilities. With her seamless cooperation with Dink, the two of them dominated the casino, but also angered Dink's observant wife, Tulip (played by Catherine Zeta Jones).
