Plot Summary

Mad Men is a TV series about the American advertising industry, released by AMC on July 19, 2007. Produced by Matthew Weiner, the producer and screenwriter of "The Sopranos," the series is set in 1960s New York and boldly depicts the brutal commercial competition of the golden age of American advertising. With a retro atmosphere and gorgeous style, it authentically reproduces the light and shadow years of the 1960s. In the 1960s, the advertising industry in the United States entered its heyday, with hundreds of advertising companies of all sizes lining Madison Avenue in Manhattan, New York. Among them, there was an advertising company called Sterling Cooper, which was considered a leader in the industry.
