Plot Summary

Like an endless continuous rain, it led the Himekawa squad, who had been in the army for four and a half years, to the finish line. Within a week, three consecutive murder incidents with similar modus operandi occurred in Tokyo, and all the victims belonged to subordinate organizations of the largest gang, Yamato kai. The police immediately established a search headquarters and formed a team of four to insist that the case arose from the position of heir. However, Reiko Hosokawa (played by Yukiko Takeuchi) raised doubts, leading to the division of the headquarters. The mysterious phone call that followed led Lingzi to target a stranger named Kento Yanai (played by Shota Ranya), but the higher ups ordered her to prohibit her from pursuing this clue. Reiko, who never easily succumbs to power, conducts an independent investigation under the cover of Kikuta Kazuo (played by Hidetoshi Nishijima) and other members of the Himekawa clan. In the process, Yanai's painful past and complicated relationship with the police gradually become clear. This film is adapted from Tetsuya Tamada's series of suspense novels "Strawberry Night" and is a theatrical version of the TV drama of the same name.
