Plot Summary

Adapted from the award-winning original work, featuring three female bank employees and three ways of survival. At the end of the 20th century, Meize Rika (played by Rie Miyazawa), who worked at Wakabayasu Bank, became a full-time employee and had just secured a high sum of business from the solitary elderly man Takazo Hirabayashi (played by Lianji Ishibashi). Despite her charm, she was highly regarded by her leader Inoue (played by Yoshimasa Kondo). However, Lihua's heart seems to hide various dissatisfaction and repression. She has been married to her gentle husband (played by Seiichi Tanabe) for many years, but has never had children. There is a great distance between the couple's respectful appearance. After meeting the grandson of the old man in Pinglin, Guangtai (played by Chi Songzhuang), Li Hua's heart was stirred up. She began to tremble and try to chase the dreamlike happiness, even reaching out to depositors' deposits for this purpose. At the top of the Tower of Happiness, she and Mitsukoshi were drunk and dreamed of death, but when they woke up, the Tower of Happiness collapsed with a loud bang...
