Description
Plot Summary
After his father and mother divorced, young Kai (voiced by Shoda Shimoda) followed his father back to his hometown by the mountains and sea, and started a new life with his grandfather who made umbrellas as a profession. The changes in his family made Kai unhappy, and it was only during the arrangement that Kai was able to regain a little bit of long lost happiness. Yubu (voiced by Shoumei Caizi) and Kunio (voiced by Saito Shoma) discovered Kai's musical talent and warmly invited him to join their band "Siren". One night, the music played by Kai attracted a mermaid named Lu (voiced by Gu Huayin), and soon Lu and Kai became friends. However, in the village, mermaids are an ominous symbol, and their appearance often indicates disaster and death. Finally, Lu's identity was exposed, and the residents of the town quickly divided into two factions. One faction was moved by Lu's innocent dance moves, while the other faction was determined to drive the mermaids out of the human world.
