Plot Summary

In a remote and desolate town far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where the economy is declining and hope is slim, those who have the ability to leave have set out, abandoning this homeland that once managed to create beautiful dreams, leaving behind only deep despair and endless darkness. Single mother Billie (played by Christina Hendricks) and her two sons Boens (played by Iain De Caestecker) and Frankie (played by Landyn Stewart) live in a corner of the town. Due to overdue loans, the Billie family is in an unprecedented crisis, and their home is facing the fate of being demolished. Bonn broke into an abandoned building to dismantle copper materials and sell them for money to support his family, only to be threatened by local bullies. During his escape, he discovered a small town that had been submerged by someone and learned about the town's past from the neighboring girl Wright (played by Saoirse Ronan). Wright told him that the decline of the small town they lived in was due to a terrible curse
