Description
Plot Summary
Jim (played by Chris Pratt) is a working-class passenger on board the Avalon spacecraft. During the 120 year journey to Space Colony 2, he wakes up from a frozen sleep due to an accident. Realizing that he might have to spend 89 years alone on this giant ship, Jim tries to fall asleep again, but ultimately can only live alone in a sleeping cabin with 5000 companions. Desperate on the brink of suicide, Jim takes a desperate gamble and awakens a female passenger named Aurora (played by Jennifer Lawrence). During their time together, they spark a love story. And when the spacecraft's operating system crashes, this couple faces even greater problems, with their lives threatened not only by themselves, but also by their fellow travelers and the voyage itself.
