Plot Summary

The most magnificent 1970s in rock history saw a fusion of bold elements such as sexiness, seduction, avant-garde, and radicalism into a unique rock genre. The spokesperson for this rock revolution, Brad Slade (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers), was captivating people at the time. However, in 1984, he was assassinated during a performance, and the superstar fell from grace. London Herald journalist Arthur (played by Christian Bale) investigates his idol. In the process of tracing back the passing years, a love story between Brad and American rock singer Kurt Wilder (played by Ewan McGregor) is uncovered. Brad was inspired by Kurt's music and created his own magnificent style, quickly becoming popular. The two were inspired and infatuated with each other, but eventually broke up due to personality conflicts. Brad, who was in the limelight, also began to give up after losing Kurt, and directed an "assassination" drama. Arthur met depressed Kurt at the bar, who seemed to be possessed by Brad's soul. They were both immersed in the nostalgia for Brad and couldn't extricate themselves. At the same time, a wonderful emotion was born between them.
