Description

Plot Summary

On a farm, various livestock are raised, all of which are the private property of the farm owner. All that awaits them is a lifetime of labor and the ultimate fate of being sold and eaten. A pig on the farm died after proposing the theory of "human exploitation of livestock, livestock must revolution". Soon after, a revolution led by pigs was launched on the farm. The original exploiter - the farmer - was driven away, and the livestock realized their desire to be "masters of the country" and tasted the sweetness of the revolution. The farm was renamed "Animal Farm" and its constitution - the Seven Commandments - was formulated. But soon, there was a split within the pigs who led the revolution, and one pig was declared an enemy of the revolution. Afterwards, the pigs who gained leadership gained increasing power and special treatment, gradually separating from other animals and ultimately transforming into livestock exploiters exactly like humans. The name of the animal farm was also abandoned. This film is adapted from George Orwell's 1945 novel of the same name, Animal Farm, and is also the first British animated feature film.
