Plot Summary

The phenomenon of massive loss of gold has suddenly emerged in various countries around the world, while black market trading of gold is thriving. The British intelligence department suspects that the world's richest man, Goldfinger, is involved in black market gold trading. He owns a large bank in Geneva, where countries have large gold reserves. 007 Bond (Sean Connery) begins his investigation into Goldfinger. Bond tracked Goldfinger all the way to Geneva and discovered his secret to shipping gold out. He obtained gold nuggets by remelting them using the method of making car bodies out of gold. Bond was discovered by the henchmen of Goldfinger and they caught him. Bond also learned about a shocking plan that Goldfinger was about to implement in an accident: he planned to use airplanes to spread poison gas to kill the stationed troops at the bank, then blow up the bank, and use a small nuclear bomb to contaminate the gold stored in countries around the world with radiation and prevent it from entering circulation. This black market gold trade would earn more than ten times the huge profits! Although Bond learned about the entire plan of Goldfinger, he was in prison and unable to inform the outside world. Can the conspiracy of the Golden Finger ultimately succeed?
