Plot Summary

During the Japanese puppet period, female writer Shen Shaohua (played by Lin Qingxia) serialized her autobiographical novel "White Magnolia" in newspapers, which resonated with many of the plot points. One day, she received a mysterious letter from a reader. She was full of curiosity about this man named Zhang Nengcai (played by Qin Han). Finally, the two met and fell in love at first sight. However, because Zhang was a traitor, there were often outsiders causing trouble, which made Shaohua very uneasy.
