Description
Plot Summary
Ike (played by Richard Gere) is a columnist, and his wife is his immediate superior. However, this did not bring him much good luck. On the contrary, after divorcing his wife due to their incompatible personalities, Ike became even more depressed because of this relationship. By chance, Ike heard the story of a Maryland woman named Marge (played by Julia Roberts) who ran away from the red carpet three times in a bar. He was deeply interested in this matter and wrote it into a column. When Ike went to the field to interview the locals, he didn't expect that people would generally feel angry about his actions. And the protagonist of the upcoming fourth time stepping on the red carpet, Maggie, felt embarrassed after reading Ike's column and escaped for the fourth time. Maggie believed that Ike had harmed her and decided to retaliate.
