Description
Plot Summary
The story takes place in Panama, which is full of exotic charm. Harry (played by Geoffrey Rush) is a skilled tailor who, with his excellent craftsmanship and three inch tongue, thrives among the nobles and political figures in Panama. Everything he does is to cover up his dark past. However, paper can't contain fire after all. Andrew (Pierce Brosnan), a member of the British Embassy, throws Harry into a dangerous environment. Andrew uses Harry's past as a threat and orders Harry to become his eyeliner in Panama's political circles to collect information for Britain and the United States to obtain ownership of the Panama Canal. Helpless, Harry had no choice but to submit, but the anger and dissatisfaction in his heart forged his lies. He told Andrew that an underground organization was planning an armed movement to overthrow the regime. What Harry didn't expect was that it was his own lies that caused the disaster.
