Description

Plot Summary

Frida (played by Salma Hayek) is a famous Mexican female painter. Before the age of 18, she was a happy and lively girl, enjoying the sweetness of love like everyone else. However, the car accident at the age of 18 dealt her a heavy blow, and as she narrowly escaped death, she was accompanied by illness and pain for the rest of her life. Her former lover also left her. Lying in bed for 18 months, she spent her days with paintings, which were full of incredible vitality and passion. At that time, she also began to consider selling her paintings to support herself. She went to ask the painter Rivera to guide her paintings, and he praised her talent. They also transformed from teachers and students to lifelong partners, and they got married. After marriage, they experienced the most turbulent revolutionary period in Mexico, and they fervently followed in the footsteps of communism. Even when Trotsky was expelled from the Soviet Union by Stalin, they fearlessly welcomed him warmly. Frida and Trotsky's ambiguous love, as well as her lesbian complex, make her love history equally brilliant. In 1954, Frida left this world filled with illness, and I hope her departure is fortunate.
