Description
Plot Summary
Bessie Bloom (played by Kate Winslet) is a well-known journalist for a New York news magazine. She is tasked with interviewing a death row inmate named David Gore (played by Kevin Spacey). Gore's charge is rape and murder of Constance Halavi, and he will be sentenced to death on Friday afternoon at 6 pm. Bloom will interview and document Gore's last three days of life, which Gore had previously refused all interviews with. Bloom was initially skeptical of this task, but during her interactions with Gore, she discovered that everything was not as simple as it seemed on the surface. Therefore, Bloom decided to spend the remaining three days searching for the truth... Alan Parker, the director of the film "The Life of David Gore," was nominated for the Golden Bear Award at the 2003 Berlin International Film Festival for the film.
