Plot Summary

This film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Huang Yulang. Wang Jianglong (played by Yuan Hua) and Wang Fuhu, who come from a martial arts family, opened the Dragon and Tiger Gate to teach martial arts and uphold justice in order to protect the grassroots from oppression. Wang Xiaolong (played by Donnie Yen) and Wang Xiaohu (played by Nicholas Tse) are half brothers under the knee of Wang Fuhu. Xiaolong was taken away from the Dragon and Tiger Gate by his mother when he was young, and he kept a dragon shaped jade pendant and a tiger shaped jade pendant for Xiaohu by his side. Xiaolong's fate was unfortunate. After his mother's death, he was adopted by gang member Ma Kun (played by Chen Guantai).
