Description
Plot Summary
Adapted from Sidney Lumet's "12 Angry Men" in 1957. A Chechen boy is accused of murdering his stepfather, a Russian military officer, and all witnesses and evidence are against him. Twelve jury members discuss this and they will decide the boy's future fate. 12 jurors come from different industries and races. At the beginning, everyone was absent-minded and didn't care about the case. Except for a physics researcher, they all thought the boy was guilty. However, the physics researcher aroused respect for life among the other 11 people, who began to seriously discuss the case, telling their own stories and experiences in life, while also examining their own inner world while deciding the boy's fate. In the end, when they reached a consensus, the decision of the jury leader (played by Nikita Mikhalkov) was unexpected
