Description
Plot Summary
The story takes place in San Francisco, USA, where the Asian underworld is powerful. FBI Asian detective Tom kills a gangster in order to save his colleague Jack (played by Jason Statham), causing the death of his entire family. When Jack arrived at Tom's vacation cottage, the Tom family had already been burned to ashes. The tragic death of Tom's family became an irreparable regret in Jack's heart, constantly tormenting him. Three years after the incident, Jack was investigating the murders of some key members of various gangs when he discovered a killer named Roger (played by Jet Li). He was calm headed, elusive, and had precise marksmanship. He appeared to be holding money from the Chinese gang and secretly served the Japanese gang, but disobeyed orders and released the wife and daughter of the Chinese boss. As the investigation deepened, Roger's secrets were revealed one by one. Jack was shocked but also had to face the truth of the tragic death of the Tom family back then.
