Plot Summary

Jin Shengjin (played by Zheng Zaiyong) lost his job due to a company restructuring, and was heavily in debt. His wife also left him. Disappointed with life, Jin Shengjin climbed onto the bridge of the Han River and jumped into the water... However, after waking up, Jin Shengjin found himself drifting to a small island in the heart of the Han River. After a brief attempt to escape failed, Jin Shengjin fell into a Robinson Crusoe like situation on the edge of the city. Recalling the cramped and busy modern life, Jin Shengjin gave up the idea of suicide and began to rely on various waste products on the island to live a life outside the city. At the same time, in a high-rise building in the city, a autistic Miss Jin (played by Zheng Liyuan) happened to witness the suicide of Jin Shengjin with her camera. This girl, who only peeks into the streets during exercises for a year, has since entered an alien like city called Rubin Sun. Miss Jin enters the dangerous street at night to send her signal to Mr. Jin, while Jin Shengjin responds with big characters on the beach. These wonderful pen pals slowly maintain this friendship, but in the chaotic city, where will this relationship go?
