Description

Plot Summary

Detective Griboyle (played by Brendan Gleeson) from Galway County, Dublin, Ireland, tidies up the aftermath of a drug addict's car accident and brings in new agent McBride. They investigate the crime scene and infer the type of killer from the evidence, but unfortunately their thinking is vastly different. Boyle's thinking was extremely bizarre, leaving McBride completely clueless. They once interrogated the suspect together, but found out that he was just a scapegoat and the real culprit was still at large. Although Boyle is cynical, he is a filial son. His mother's deadline is approaching, and he tries his best to make the elderly happy. In order to crack down on a drug smuggling case worth 500 million yuan on the black market, FBI agent Wendell (Don Cheadle) begins to analyze the case for the police officers, but is repeatedly interrupted by Boyle. Just as his boss is about to dismiss Boyle, the latter points out the biggest loophole in the report - one of the four suspects is already lying in the morgue. This made Wendell take notice of Boyle, who joked about racial discrimination. McBride was accidentally killed by a philosophical gangster while on duty. His wife came to look for her husband, which made Boyle feel a great sense of responsibility. He and Wendell embarked on a journey to apprehend the culprit
