Plot Summary

The antique dealer Kanjie (Paresh Rawal) who sells Buddha statues is an atheist. He regards Buddha statues as toys and does not understand the intricate religious rituals. He hopes to cultivate his daughter into a pilot and his son into a cricket player. The antique shop carries all his hopes and emotions. During a lively sacrificial ceremony one day, Kanjie played a divine joke in order to retrieve his son who had participated in the activity. He was warned by the leader of the sect that he would face divine retribution. On that day, the weather suddenly changed from sunny to cloudy and triggered an earthquake. No other stores were damaged, except for Kanjie's store, which was completely destroyed by the earthquake. Kanjie, who thought that taking out insurance could recover his losses, was informed by the insurance company that this was a force majeure natural disaster and not covered by the insurance. Kanjie, who had nothing, sued God in court with a paper petition. And the defendants are the sect leaders who use the name of gods to make money everywhere. A seemingly bizarre lawsuit unfolds like this, and the deity (Akshay Kumar) himself seems to be very interested in the matter.
