Description
Plot Summary
Gus (played by Clint Eastwood) is a senior scout for the Atlanta Braves, but he has been struggling lately. As he grew older and experienced some visual decline, he was considered unable to adapt to the changing market and was assigned a final recruitment task to prove his value. Gast's boss and friend Peter (played by John Goodman an) couldn't bear it, so he asked Gast's daughter Mickey (played by Amy Adams) to help complete this mission journey together. However, this is not an easy thing. Since Mickey lost his mother at the age of six, the relationship between the father and daughter has not been very good. Unfortunately, they also teamed up with the young scout Johnny (played by Justin Timberlake) from the opposing team, and there have been many ups and downs along the way. Can the three of them successfully overcome this pile of difficulties in the end?
