Description

Plot Summary

This film rewrites the classic work "Eurydice" and presents a "play within a play" drama. The playwright Antoine (played by Denis Podalyd è s) who wrote "Eurydice" has passed away, and he reunites with his old friends who had appeared in different versions of "Eurydice" many years ago. Before his death, he recorded a statement for these friends to enjoy a re rehearsed version of 'Eurydice' by a young man. As everyone watched the movie, they couldn't help but recall the scene when they appeared in this drama back then. Antoine appeared in the midst of everyone's emotions, but the best was yet to come. 'What you've seen is nothing,' he said. This film is adapted from the Greek mythological drama "Eurydice" by the famous French playwright Jean Anuy, bringing the familiar classic love story to the modern stage and giving it a new plot, paying tribute to the original work. The film also employed the staff of Aaron Ren é, and screenwriter Laurent Elbier, who had worked with Ren é in the film "Mad Grass," completed the script rewriting work together with Ren é. Actress Sabine Azelma also collaborated with the director nine times. At the age of 91, Lei Naibao, who is still young, competed in Cannes with his new work and was nominated for the Palme d'Or, the main competition unit of the 65th Cannes International Film Festival.
