Plot Summary

In 1944, at Columbia University, a young student named Allen Ginsburg (played by Daniel Radcliffe) changed his life trajectory because of a handsome classmate named Lucian Carl (played by Dane DeHaan). Through Carl, he met William S. Barros (played by Ben Foster) and Jack Kerouac (played by Jack Huston). The collapsed literary giants who will write timeless works such as "Howl," "Naked Lunch," and "On the Road" in the future were only young people at that time. They enthusiastically launched a cultural movement called "New Horizon" because of Carl, forming an intimate four person world. Outside of this world, a middle-aged man named David Cameron (played by Michael C. Hall) is looking in with greedy and admiring eyes. He is Carl's teacher, guardian, follower, and ... lover? One night, when Cameron's body was found in the Hudson River near the campus, the young people discovered that they were involved in a murder case full of emotional turbulence.
