Plot Summary

In response to the escalating greenhouse effect, countries around the world launched a refrigerant codenamed CW-7 in 2014, but unexpectedly pushed the Earth into an irreversible abyss of extreme cold. Most humans died from the cold and panic, only a few thousand people boarded the train developed by Wilford Industries and became never-ending wanderers. This train, powered by a perpetual motion engine developed by Wilford (played by Ed Harris) and equipped with various complete facilities, built its own independent ecosystem over the next seventeen years, spinning back and forth on a long journey of 438000 kilometers. The lower class people living in the last carriage have always been oppressed. In order to fight for freedom and power, they have launched multiple uprisings in the past, but without a doubt, all of them ended in failure. This time, Curtis (played by Chris Evans), who possesses leadership qualities, attempts to find the imprisoned security designer Minxiu Nangong (played by Kang ho Song) and use his hand to open the heavy doors leading to the first carriage, overthrowing Wilford's rule. At the beginning of the new year, a bloody revolution is underway... This film is adapted from the French comic "Le Transcendeige".
