Description
Plot Summary
In the 1970s, Roger (played by Ron Livingston) and Caroline (played by Lili Taylor) moved with their five lovely and beautiful daughters to an old house in Harrisville, Rhode Island. Although the house is old and has a long history, it allows the Peron family to experience the joy and happiness of returning to the countryside. Unexpectedly, the good times didn't last long. A series of strange events occurred one after another, causing the girls to scream in shock and also making the Perons' nerves tense to the extreme. For this reason, they searched for the most famous Warrens at that time. Husband Ed (played by Patrick Wilson) is the only recognized exorcist in the Catholic Church, while wife Lorraine (played by Vera Farmiga) has the ability to see spirits. They effortlessly identified the crux of this gloomy mansion, and in order to obtain permission from the church to exorcise spirits, they had to delve into the period to collect evidence of the existence of evil spirits
