Description
Plot Summary
The story takes place in London at the end of the 19th century, when the study of corpses had reached its peak. Death was not the end of everything, and those whose souls dissipated but their bodies remained forever were called "necromancers" and regarded as cheap and efficient labor. Watson (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosokawa) is a highly qualified medical student whose friend Friday (voiced by Ayumi Murase) died tragically. Following his friend's wishes before his death, Watson violated government regulations by secretly turning him into a corpse. Watson's action drew him into a spy agency called "Walsingham", and together with Friday, they embarked on a journey to Afghanistan in search of "Victor's Memoirs". The owner of the Memoirs was Dr. Frankenstein, and the Memoirs recorded the method of creating The One, a conscious corpse. Currently, the most likely owner of the Memoirs is a priest named Karamazov (voiced by Shinichiro Miki).
