Description

Plot Summary

The 1999 film "Analyze This" created a miracle on the box office chart, achieving a box office success of $1.7 million. The story of this film continues from the previous episode. Boss Paul Vitti (played by Robert De Niro) is about to complete his sentence at Sinsin Prison in New York. But the FBI agents in charge of monitoring him are feeling confused. Recently, the most notorious gang leader in New York that they are guarding is pacing back and forth day after day in the small house where he is being held, with nerves running high. Of course, they occasionally sing a few lines of the theme song from the movie "West Side Story". Did Viti have a mental breakdown because his rival family threatened him with death again? Do you still want to leave prison as soon as possible with his strange behavior? Federal agents were left confused, and Viti's former psychologist Ben Sobel (played by Billy Crystal) was also summoned for examination, but the reason was unclear. The last time Sobel treated Vitti, he tried to find out the reason for his increasing anxiety, but to no avail. It takes time to identify the illness lurking in Viti's mind and restore him to normal. At this moment, Sobel doesn't want to waste time, especially for Vitti, especially now. In fact, Sobel himself also encountered trouble. His father's recent death plunged him into a period of personal and professional transformation. In addition, Sobel knew that if he let that elusive Viti reappear in his life, his wife Laura MacNamara Sobol (played by Lisa Kudrow, Lisa Kudrow) would surely be furious. However, Viti was granted parole and, under Sobel's guarantee, became his patient again - or worse, a tenant of their family. This reluctant psychologist found that he had no choice. In order to restore peace to his life, Sobel must help this gang leader regain his sanity, find a suitable job, and return to the right path. Finally, Viti seems to be taking treatment seriously. Sobel also believed that he had started to trust Vitti. But if guys like Lou The Wrench keep appearing, can he still maintain this perseverance?
