Plot Summary
This film is set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War, depicting and exposing the brutal crimes committed by the US military during the war, and expressing the director's hatred towards war and their appreciation and call for peace. Alison is a soldier who has just entered the Vietnam battlefield, with a passion for dedicating himself to the country. Accidentally ambushed by the Vietnamese army during an operation, fortunately saved by colleague Ma Su. During a remote reconnaissance mission, Ma Su and others forcibly took Vietnamese girls with them to vent their beastly desires. Alison watched helplessly as the Vietnamese girl was trampled to death, and the righteous man began to feel disappointed with his fellow countrymen. He disregarded his own safety and publicly exposed the crimes of his colleagues
