Plot Summary
Day as Night "is a film technology term that refers to shooting night scenes during the day. This film tells the story of a movie shooting process. The movie 'Meet Pamela' is currently in full swing, and director Ferrand (played by Francois Truffaut) not only has to deal with the filming, but also has to take care of the emotions of the actors. Among them are the emotional problems of the fragile and sensitive male protagonist Alphonse (played by Jean Pierre L é aud), as well as the mentally challenged actress Julie Baker (played by Jacqueline Bisset). The movie still needs to be completed before the agreed time, and the progress of filming is not very smooth. Everything looks so bad. Can 'Meet Pamela' still be filmed? This film brilliantly presents the process of filming with a 'play within a play' structure. This film won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1974.
