Description

Plot Summary

During the economic downturn in Australia, Arthur and his brother drove around in search of work but were unsuccessful. When they saw the road sign in the small town of Paris indicating "job opportunities," they immediately changed their route. Unexpectedly, the lights at the corner of the mountain road caused a car accident for the two of them. Arthur survived and was taken in by the mayor's family. Car accidents near the town are unusually frequent, with residents dismantling all the vehicles involved and stuffing the injured into the large patient population at the town hospital. Arthur was afraid of driving due to a previous accident and had to stay in town. The idle young people drove modified old vehicles recklessly all day long. Arthur recalled the accident with many doubts, but he couldn't resist the mayor's kindness and had to remain silent. The unemployed wanderers in Paris town used to make a living by causing car accidents. The mayor, who was trying to arrange jobs for young people, finally clashed with them, and a bloody melee broke out on the night of the ball.
