Plot Summary

The waste produced by the chemical plant under Fahrenheit Enterprise has polluted the nearby fishing grounds. The person in charge of the fishing grounds, Axian (Ye Dexian), has applied to the court for an injunction to prohibit the plant from continuing production. To resolve the issue, Fahrenheit Enterprises hired lawyer Aaron (Jackie Chan) to handle the case and authorized him to acquire the fishing grounds. Aaron sought the help of his friends Huang Feihong (Sammo Hung) and Abiao (Yuan Biao). One of these two gentlemen was highly skilled in martial arts, while the other was agile but not very intelligent. Abiao installed a listening device in the fishing ground, while Huang Feihong tried his best to approach Axian and urged her to sell the fishing ground. Axian also sought help from her cousin, water quality expert Meiling (Yang Baoling). Arong was deeply attracted to Meiling when he first met her, and soon they fell in love. The relationship between Huang Feihong and Axian also became increasingly strong. Abiao accidentally revealed the original intentions of the three, which disappointed Axian and Meiling. After that, he broke up with Arong and Huang Feihong respectively. This incident prompted Arong and his group to discover the secret that the factory was hiding.
