Description
Plot Summary
Xiaoyu (played by Maggie Cheung) brought all her belongings and came to the United States alone, hoping to reunite with her fianc é Pete (played by Jianting Cheung) whom she had been in love with for many years. However, after crossing mountains and rivers, Xiaoyu realized that in the United States, she was struggling with everything without the right to reside. Encouraged by Pete, Xiaoyu decides to obtain residency through a fake marriage. They find the down and out gambler Qianbao (played by Sammo Hung) and hope to make a deal with him. Thus, Xiaoyu became Qian Bao's wife. What Xiaoyu didn't expect was that just one day later, Pete disappeared without a trace with all of Xiaoyu's assets, leaving Xiaoyu and Qianbao bewildered. At first, Qianbao rudely kicked Xiaoyu out of the house, but later he couldn't bear it and took her in again. These two unlucky people with nowhere to go, how should they survive in a foreign land
