Plot Summary

In 1962, during a period of economic hardship in mainland China, Wu Guohao (Lv Liangwei), a young man from Shantou who fled to Hong Kong with the influx of refugees, joined the gang leader Fei Bo (Zheng Zeshi) due to his unwillingness to be bullied by the gang. After several fierce battles, he was highly valued by Fei Bo and established his position within the gang, becoming increasingly influential. The increasingly threatening Fat Wave plot led to Wu Guohao being pursued by drug lords. Although he did not die, he also suffered a leg injury. However, he himself was eventually framed and imprisoned by the enemy. By seizing the position of Chief Detective for China, Wu Guohao took over all of Fei Bo's territory and became the head of the four major families of the gang. He also became a drug trafficking umbrella for him because he was willing to pay for detectives to serve in the police force.
