Plot Summary

In the late 1920s, in order to fulfill his master's wish, Chen Zhen (played by Jet Li) went to the East to learn advanced technology. He fell in love with Japanese girl Mitsuki Yamada (played by Ninja Nakayama). Due to the death of his master Huo Yuanjia, Chen Zhen returned to China to assist his master's son Huo Tingen (played by Qian Xiaohao) in managing the affairs of the Jingwu Sect. However, this unexpectedly aroused his jealousy and sparked a power struggle between his master brothers. On the other hand, Chen Zhen investigates the cause of his master's death and suspects that Japanese officer Fujita Gang (played by Zhou Bili) secretly used chronic poison to kill Huo Yuanjia. Chen Zhen requested a doctor to conduct an autopsy, confirming that his master died from poisoning. Fujita Gang was afraid that his conspiracy would be exposed, so he committed murder and framed it, and engaged in a series of fierce battles. Soon after, Fujita challenged the Seibu Sect and lured the head of the Japanese Black Dragon Society, Fumio Funako, to challenge the Seibu Hall. On the day of the martial arts competition, both sides engaged in a thrilling final battle.
