Description
Plot Summary
On December 11, 1937, Nanjing was besieged and both China and Japan engaged in a bloody battle. The Japanese army crazily slaughtered unarmed Chinese civilians at Zhongshan Gate, where they brutally slaughtered prisoners of war. The commander of the Japanese 6th Division, Gu Shoufu, said at Zhonghua Gate that we were the first troops to capture Nanjing and must be recorded in history. He ordered the lifting of military discipline for three days and said that all Chinese women were comfort women. The commander of the Japanese 16th Division, Imago Nakajima, led his troops into the Nationalist Government and established his own headquarters in Chiang Kai shek's office. Nanjing officially fell.
