Plot Summary
Kevin (Keanu Reeves) is a young lawyer with an unbeaten record, accompanied by a beautiful wife, and a promising career. He lives as if in heaven. At the invitation of a renowned New York law firm, he brought his wife to New York. The luxurious lifestyle is right in front of us, and everything seems to indicate a smooth and bright future. Boss Milton (played by Al Pacino) highly appreciates Kevin and constantly assigns him important tasks, while also showing him the colorful world. Faced with the pressure of work and the temptations of pornography, fame and fortune, Kevin gradually lost himself in life and even ignored his wife's mental abnormalities. It wasn't until his dysfunctional wife committed suicide in his arms that Kevin suddenly realized the crisis around him. Kevin angrily accused Milton of setting a trap for him. However, was it the devil's temptation or inner vanity that led Kevin into today's fog and abyss? What choices would Kevin make under free will?
