Plot Summary

In the late Qing Dynasty, when the political situation was corrupt and the people were struggling to make ends meet, Song Chali (Jiang Wen) attempted to overthrow the Qing Dynasty by leveraging his advanced knowledge gained in the United States and collaborating with Sun Yat sen (Zhao Wenxuan). Afterwards, Song Charlie's three daughters, each with their own unique charm, returned to China after studying in the United States. The eldest son, Song Ailing (Yang Ziqiong), married businessman Kong Xiangxi (Niu Zhenhua), the second son, Song Qingling (Zhang Manyu), followed the revolutionary Sun Yat sen despite her father's opposition, and the third son, Song Meiling (Wu Junmei), became his wife under the fierce pursuit of Chiang Kai shek (Wu Xingguo), who was first a revolutionary and then a traitor.
