Plot Summary

Jewish genius mathematician Maximilian Cohen (played by Sean Gullette) is obsessed with the world of numbers, believing that everything in nature can be explained by numbers. He devoted himself to research, attempting to deduce the mysteries and patterns behind various signs of life through numbers. The closer he got to the answer, the more he couldn't bear the fatal headache. He discovered that the chaotic fluctuations in the stock market over the past decade were actually manipulated by a set of mathematical models behind it. At the same time, his research attracted the attention of Wall Street stock market speculators and Jewish mystics. In the world between reality and virtuality, Maxi is heading towards madness.
