Plot Summary

The Umbrella company, which researches biochemical weapons for the military, has a huge research center called Hive underground in Raccoon City. Due to an accident that caused the leakage of airborne biochemical weapons, the computer system responsible for Hive security, the "Red Queen," activated emergency measures, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of staff... Four hours later, Hive security personnel Alice (played by Milla Jovovich) woke up at the exit of the hive and lost her memory due to hypnotic gas. A special forces team tasked with shutting down the Red Queen arrived here and teamed up with Alice, self proclaimed police officer Anderson, and Beehive worker Parks to venture deep underground. The group encountered a series of attacks from the security system and zombies due to conflicts with the Red Queen's mission objectives, and Alice's gradually recovering memories revealed her extraordinary connection with her companions. How can this biochemical zombie crisis be resolved? Or is it simply a prelude to despair? This film is the first installment in a series adapted from the well-known video game "Resident Evil".
