Description

Plot Summary

In the Fourth Middle East War of 1973, an Israeli fighter jet carrying nuclear weapons was destroyed in Syria, and the nuclear bomb was buried by time and sandstorms. However, 29 years later, a civilian couple dug up a nuclear bomb and sold it cheaply to arms dealers, ultimately selling it to terrorists who were planning a nuclear explosion at a bustling gathering place in the United States and blaming it on Russia, intending to provoke a new round of world war. When meeting with the new President of Russia, Jack Ryan (Ben Affleck), a young and alert CIA intelligence analyst, vaguely feels something strange, and quickly sees the terrorist's shocking plot through eyeliner. However, Ryan's judgment did not receive the attention of the bureau. At a loss, he gained the trust and cooperation of the experienced and wise senior analysis consultant William Cabot (played by Morgan Freeman). However, with their own efforts, could they find the nuclear bomb before the terrorists could take action and prevent this devastating tragedy from happening? This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by American military writer Tom Clancy.
