Plot Summary

The film is directed by Ashtoos Gowalik, the director of "Once Upon a Time in India," and stars Shahrukh Khan from Bollywood's leading film "My Name is Khan." He co stars with Indian Miss Gayatri Joshi. Mohan, an engineer working in Nansha, has lost contact with his wet nurse who raised him since he arrived in the United States. With longing and remorse for his wet nurse, Mahan embarked on a journey back to India. However, the wet nurse who originally lived in the nursing home was taken to a village called Footprint Land by someone else. Ma Han had no choice but to search for the footprints. During his stay in Delhi, Mahan met a beautiful girl named Jit and they fell in love. Mahan planned to bring her beloved back to the United States, but her family wanted them to marry in India before going. So Mahan had to settle down in this small village where there were no international long-distance calls, poor network conditions, no banks, and constant power outages. As Mahan gradually entered the lives of the villagers, he discovered that there were many contradictions and drawbacks in the village. The villagers live in hardship and lack energy. There are many barriers between different classes and castes in the village, and the lives of grassroots people are extremely miserable. Jite is a teacher in the village, and Mahan decided to help Jite with it. He actively encouraged children to enroll in school and tried every means to break down the barriers in people's hearts. Thanks to Mahan's efforts, Jit was able to establish a middle school in the village. Gradually, Mahan finally changed the lives of the villagers and won the heart of Jit. However, at this time, Mahan had to return to the United States to continue leading his research project
