Description
Plot Summary
This film is adapted from the life of Howard Hughes. Howard Hughes (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) was born in Houston, Texas, USA. At the age of 18, he inherited his father's wealth from a Texas oil well and moved to Hollywood with a dream of making movies. In 1926, he bought control of 125 theaters and spent millions of dollars to make the epic real-life aerial combat film "Hell's Angels", becoming a famous producer; In 1939, he took over Global Airlines and quickly turned the company around. During World War II, he collaborated with the US military and led the invention and improvement of the Blue Spruce aircraft. While Howard Hughes achieved great success in his career, he also suffered from depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder; His love life was full of twists and turns, with Katharine Hepburn (Cate Blanchett) and Ava Gardner (Kate Beckinsale) leaving him one after another, causing him great distress.
