Plot Summary

In order to fulfill his father's wish, Victor (played by Tom Hanks) takes a plane from his homeland to Kennedy Airport in the United States, but a dramatic event occurs: he is informed of a coup in his country, and his ID and passport become invalid one by one, while his visa can no longer be used. Victor, who was caught in a dilemma, had to stay at the airport, waiting for the new documents to be processed. However, he waited at the airport for a full 9 months. During these 9 months, he washed up in the airport restroom, slept in the waiting room, learned to adapt to local conditions, took care of his own life at the airport, and even found a job on a construction site. However, Victor's disheveled and unlucky appearance drew the displeasure of airport manager Frank (played by Stanley Tucci), and perhaps even more infuriating and jealous was the beautiful flight attendant Emilia (played by Catherine Zeta Jones) falling in love with Victor. Victor, who is in a sweet state, is also slowly observing the various aspects of life at the airport and enjoying himself.
