Description
Plot Summary
In the 1930s, World War II was in full swing. And Sally (played by Karl Markovics) is proud of her superb forgery skills, effortlessly handling delicious food and beautiful women, feeling uneasy. But his good days didn't last long, and soon he was arrested for his crimes and subsequently sent to the Mauthausen concentration camp. At that time, the German Nazis plotted to produce a large amount of counterfeit currency to disrupt the economies of the Allied powers. Sally's talent was discovered, and he became the leader of the secret counterfeit money manufacturing group, but his conscience prompted him to choose another way... According to Adolf Burger's original book The Devils Workshop, the film described in the book is the author's personal experience, and the film won the Best Foreign Language Film Award in 2008 and the Best supporting role Award in the German Film Awards in 2007 (Devid Striesow).
