Description
Plot Summary
The society once dominated by humans has now become a world of vampires, and the remaining humans have been raised in captivity as machines for producing fresh blood. The number of humans is decreasing, and vampires must study alternatives to blood, otherwise they will face even more terrifying mutations. Edward Dalton (played by Ethan Hawke) is the chief hematologist specializing in researching new alternatives, and his boss Charles Bromley is an ambitious man who is very satisfied with the current state of the vampire world and attempts to gain huge profits by monopolizing new alternatives. In an unexpected encounter, Edward meets the fleeing human Audrey Bennett (played by Claudia Kavan) and helps her escape from pursuit. However, Audrey unexpectedly comes knocking on her door and brings in Elvis, who miraculously transforms from a vampire to a human in an accident. The surviving humans need the help of a trustworthy vampire... The Spierig brothers (Peter Spierig&Michael Spierig) transform previous vampire genre films into science fiction elements to create a new story atmosphere in this film.
