Plot Summary

Due to his outstanding performance as a security guard at the Museum of Natural History in New York, Larry (played by Ben Stiller) became the CEO of a small home appliance company and even gave an interview to a famous talk show host on television. His son admired him and love followed him like a shadow, exuding a sense of triumph. However, the good times didn't last long. When he revisited his hometown, he unexpectedly discovered that the curator had already updated the exhibition and was preparing to move outdated exhibits to the Smithsonian Museum in Washington for further display. This made Larry feel a little angry. He felt responsible for reviving the glory of the museum, so he decided to stay and work as a guard for another night to awaken the joint efforts of his old friends.
