Plot Summary
13-year-old beautiful little girl Mia (played by Ella Purnell) accidentally discovers a small box in a tree hole in her yard, containing a strange and terrifying story. The story tells of a faceless demon who hopes to gain recognition from others, so he searches for children standing at the window, takes them away, tears off their faces, and sticks them to his own face. Mia was fascinated by this unfinished story and tried to continue writing it. Mia didn't know that this was a story written by her father, John Filo (Clive Owen), who was a construction worker, based on his own real experiences during his childhood. During this process, eerie dreams constantly troubled Mia. At the same time, an unexpected accident reignited John's deep-seated fear, reminding him of the faceless demon from his childhood. Father and daughter were both harassed by the demon at the same time
