Description
Plot Summary
The story takes place in a small village between North Africa and the Middle East today. Since ancient times, the burden of carrying water in the deep mountains under the scorching sun has always fallen on the women in the village. Newlywed Leila suggests that women should "go to war" with men: if they don't fetch water, they will no longer have the right to enjoy the pleasure of fish and water.
