Description
Plot Summary
The film is adapted from a real event. Mike (played by Sam Worthington) is an unlikeable detective who, on behalf of his ex-wife Pam (played by Jessica Chastain), is investigating a bizarre murder case with his friend Brian (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan). The crime scene was located in a coastal oil field in Texas, where the remoteness and desolation made it an excellent location for the killers to dispose of their bodies, hence it is known as the 'Texas killing ground'. So far, nearly 60 bodies of young women have been found here. After careful reasoning and investigation, Mike and Brian targeted a young thug, and it was clear that a girl named Anne (played by Chloe Moretz) was the next target of the thug. Following Anne's trail, the detectives arrived at the Texas killing scene and understood that the truth of the event was there, waiting for them.
